How it works
Recorded on the resident's phone, stored with the ticket, and played back by whoever is doing the repair. Nothing is transcribed — the recording is the report.
Why
Why it is built this way
Describing a leak in written English is a barrier for the person who has to report it; holding a phone and talking is not. Transcribing it would only add a version that can be wrong.
